there was some vibration this morning. yes, part of it, we were doing the california shake-up drill with 9.3 million in the state of california, but i think there was vibrations. mayor mathews and mayor reed were jumping up and down because i told them we were putting together something that would not only be a great way to work together but something they have also been personally wishing could happen and be led by the city. so today we are of course unveiling our promotional launch but getting here has been something on my mind. it's been one of those very solid topic that jen and i spent good time together. my office, where i call it inappropriately the man cave, but it is a place where i think we have had a chance to talk about the honest going relationship that the niners, the oldest professional sports franchise in the state of california, that's still here in the state of california. it is wonderful to have this opportunity. we have other ideas we can't talk about yet because they are not matured but this came to us fast. it was an opportunity we have rarely. but to be able to be in

california. and we are looking at moderate rain at this time across northern california into southwestern oregon and also up in the seattle and the coast of washington state. now tomorrow we are actually going to see even heavier rain start to move in. we have already had reports of about 8 to 10 inches of rainfall already from the past few storms we've already seen. but we've also gotten reports of wind gusts up to 60 to more than 80-mile-per-hour. and we're going to see more of the same if not a little more intense as we go into sunday morning. additional rainfall totals on top of the 8 to 10 inches on the ground could be an additional 5 to 6, 7 inches of rainfall out of what we'll see tomorrow morning. we have the series of storms moving into the west coast. then it's a totally different story right in the middle of the country. we're also talking about record-break heat today. down into dallas and also into san antonio where temperatures should get into the upper 70s and lower 80s. that's about 20 degrees warmer than average for this first day of december. the only cool spot really is

the lockdown of a southern california college campus. that lockdown at cal state fullerton was lifted just before midnight. at least one suspect ran on the campus following a police chase yesterday afternoon. that's when the lockdown was ordered. students were told it could last all night but it was lifted after 8 hours. the chase came after a robbery and shooting at a jewelry store. the pursuit covered the counties and ended with a crash near the campus. two suspects are still at large. three others are under arrest. one of them ran into a baseball diamond where the los angeles police chief was at a toy giveaway. that suspect saw dozens of officers there and surrendered. >> amazing video. >>> 4:31 now. a san francisco police sergeant is under investigation over over a video on facebook. in elizabeth wenger is in san francisco with the video that was recorded. >>> this video all over the net. it makes you think why would a san francisco cop ever do this to begin with? we should know he is changing his story now but that video essentially shows the driver starting here at larkin and broadwa
